Massacres and Starving Devastate Armenia

LONDON-Conditions in Armenia are fully as bad as in Serbia or Poland, according to accounts given out by the Armenian Red Cross. An Armenian doctor named Derderian has sent word that the whole plain of Alashgerd is virtually covered with bodies of men, women and children. When the Russian forces retreated the Kurds fell upon the helpless people and shut them up in mosques. The men were killed and the women carried away.
