Sporadic massacres of Armenians have taken place since the armistice was sisnged, and British and French troops have been stationed in hitherto Turkish territory to protect Armenian refugees against their oppressors.
That is what John H. Finley, head of the Red Cross Palestine commission, who recently returned to this country after a second visit to Palestine, told reporters in an interview at the Century club yesterday.
The instigators of the massacres were Turks, Dr. Finley said, and these, with the aid of Arabs, swooped down suddenly on an Armenian colony and killed all those they could lay hands upon.
