Young Turks Plan Armenian Massacre

Washington, Oct. 10 – Young Turks under the leadership of Enver Bey have planned extermination of the Armenian race after the withdrawal of the British troops, the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee was told today by Walter G. Smith, of the Near East Relief Association, who recently returned from a personal investigation of the situation in Armenia. The committee is considering a resolution authorizing the president to send troops to that country to check the Turks and Tartars.
