Warn turkey to Stop Massacres

Washington, D. C, Oct 5- Following a conference between President Wilson and several members of his cabinet, Ambassador Merganser was instructed by cable today to inform Turkey that the massacres of Armenians must cease.

NEW YORK, Oct. 5 – Members of the board of foreign missions who arrived here today state that the Turks and Kurds are engaged in a holy war which has for its objective the extermination of the Armenians and all professing Christianity in Asiatic Turkey
